What to do

I believe I am about to be offered a position in a different company. Basically... I am being recruited. Hopefully I'll know more by the end of the week.

I can't imagine not working at the bookstore anymore (no discout!!). But, if the money is right... *sigh*

Hope all my friends in the U.S.

had a great 4th of July!

I had the day off. Relaxed and did some laundry. (exciting eh?) I have tomorrow off too.

In 3 months I'll be back home in Sudbury for 10 days. I'm already thinking of all the people I want to see and things I want to do. I can't wait. :)

LONDON, England (AP) -- Author J.K. Rowling said two characters will die in the last installment of her boy wizard series, and she hinted Harry Potter might not survive either.

So, I wonder who will die?

Vacation...

Brent and I have been on vacation since last Saturday. Brent still has another week off but I go back to work Wednesday. It's been nice having some time off. It was needed. I know a lot of us at work are really exhausted at the moment so everyone is looking forward to their vacations.

We haven't been doing too much, just hanging around here. Went to the movies, went over to Mike and Christy's, went out to dinner for Brent's stepfather's birthday, went shopping.

I have another week of vacation time that I'll be using in October - when I go home for Thanksgiving!! It will be wonderful to see everyone again. I miss them so much.

So, yesterday morning

we woke up to find that one of the bikes was stolen from our back yard. Surprisingly they took Brent's little sister's bike (which had a wobbly back tire) and left Brent's expensive bike there. They also took the gas can to our lawnmower and threw it into the neighbour's yard (what purpose that served we have no idea). Thankfully they didn't take our new lawnmower - I guess it would be kind of hard to ride away on it.

It's not that they stole a (not very good) bike that bothers me. What bothers me the most is that they had to open the gate to our back yard and come up on the deck, where we had the two bikes. And we didn't hear anything. *sigh*

Well, at least we'll have a shed now, once it's built.
